The end of the story isn&...Thanks for your comment! The end of the story isn't nearly so sad; I no longer think I'm worthless intellectually, but I'm still fighting those impulses emotionally. The difficult thing about telling my story is that I never "burned bridges" - the people who told me I was totally depraved weren't trying to scare me for life.
